Would Your Home Pass the Blower Door Test?

First developed in the 1970’s as a research tool, A Blower Door Test is a means to measure the airtightness of buildings, usually residential, and to help physically locate air leakage sites in the building envelope. In essence, its reveals how airtight a house is and how often the air replaces itself within an hour.  Evolution homes are expected to receive a score of 3ach or less, indicating a draft-free home that will retain its internal temperature with less energy consumption.
